Method for Removing "read-only" files

I have over 300 (of 7,000) songs that I cannot delete using Manager because they are "read-only" . Your articles do not appear to discuss this (or I am missing it). I have done' everything I can with the settings on the music folder with no luck on removing the read-only effect.

Thank you for the idea.


However, it all depends on the files. Some "read-only" files can be protected by Apple, they can come from cloud music apps like Apple Music or Amazon Music etc. You can send us your log files (https://www.copytrans.net/support/preparing-log-files-to-contact-support/), and we will see if something can be done in your case.

I used to be able to search for cover albums using your program and now nothing.. what gives no artwork can ever be displayed it says

Export (simply) the tracks names & album names...

Hi, I am in the process of moving from a set of local tracks to streaming (Apple Music). I however miss the list of all tracks I have on my iPod. It would be nice if CopyTrans could export the tracks names & album names so I can import them afterwards in the new system without having to turn to my old device. Thanks.

CopyTrans was good before

You have become so bad through the years since I've been using Copytrans Manager. It messed up my playlist so badly, I'm done with you guys.

the date added doesn't match in iphone

usually when I add song to iPhone, sorting all songs by Recently Added would show me new song at the top of the list. But using CopyTrans Manager, the songs shows at the bottom of the list. It would be great to have them on top, so I can play them easily.

On my PC the songs i transfer are in order on my Ipad the order is random. Is there a way to change that?

Hello, you can do it with CopyTrans Manager (free). Alternatively, you can do it via iTunes or manually on your iPod. To do so, you will have to disable automatic syncing: it will enable you to manage the iPod contents manually.

When making a backup of albumins, does not copy duplicate tracks

Need an option to copy the albums in their entirety regardless if a tracks exists in a different album, the albums copied need to be complete. Not with various tracks missing because they exist somewhere else thanks

Hello! 1. Navigate to Settings -> Advanced settings 2. Type "duplicates" in the search bar 3. Set value to "no". Try backing up your music albums again.
