Provide a visual as to what files were already converted.

I wasn't sure of the HEIC-to-.jpg file conversions worked (no visual depiction), so I tried a couple more times and ended up with filename(1), (2), (3) and even (4) sometimes showing multiple conversions. There's no apparent way to mass remove the duplicates, triplicates, etc, so it was a painful lesson.

The free version works better than the paid version... shame about the money

With the free version, you can convert across folders, and with the paid version, the conversion is stopped before the 'folder change'. I bought the 2-year subscription, uninstalled the paid version, and converted my 12,000 HEIC images in blocks of 100 with the free version. Thanks for that.

To be able to change HEIC files to JPG. I bought it to download my photos to my PC and that works great. (However you need to update the "comments" the app displays when it's downloading. :))

Hello!

CopyTrans Studio already offers 2 ways to convert HEIC to JPEG.

  1. The app offers 3 free full backups of the photo library per day in the trial version. It means that you can make a full backup, select "Convert Photo in HEIC to JPEG" while launching the backup, and all your HEIC photos will be automatically saved to the PC as JPEG.   2. If you have HEIC photos on your PC, you can select them (or make a right-click on the folder with the HEIC photos) and click "Convert HEIC" -> to JPEG/ PNG/ PDF. However, this feature is limited in the trial version. You can only convert 50 photos per day. To convert more, you can wait 24 hours or get a subscription: https://copytrans.studio/store/ .

Duplicates

One idea would be to scan one or multiple folders for duplicates. This would be helpful in saving unnecessary storage space. Another interesting option would be to add only new photos during the backup process.

Hi, CopyTrans Studio will not create duplicate if you backup your device in the same folder. However, it will not be the case if you backup in two or more different folders. You can use the setting "Only backup photos taken from XXX to XXX" to avoid duplicates.
