It would be great if the software allowed me to delete the photos so they are also deleted from the iPhone/cloud. Unfortunately, the FAQ tip to disable cloud sync isn't an option for me.

YES.. You've got to be kidding me. I've just spent half of an entire day just trying to move my .mov files from my iphone 15 pro over to my windows 11 machine and I JUST WANT THE FILES IN A STANDARD .mp4 FORMAT. This is always a moving target with even Adobe apps that used to be able to handle the .mov files just fine, and then not so I had to jump through hoops to get files converted, and now that work around no longer works. All I want is my videos off my phone in a standard .mp4 format and images in .jpg formats. Simple. Please HELP.
