It's possible to:

1) copy the music library to PC/ an external drive using CopyTrans: https://www.copytrans.net/support/gettingstarted-copytrans/ ;

2) select and add only a few songs to another device using CopyTrans Manager: https://www.copytrans.net/support/gettingstarted-copytrans-manager/ .
