Has this issue been addressed yet? It is specifically an issue with soundtracks.

Simply add `Album artist to "Various"` problem solved

not only multiple albums, but the album artwork changes from the MP3 tags

Along a similar line: when correcting this, I try to select multiple tracks to edit the artist to a single, common name. It seems that the change will only apply to one track at a time, rather than applying it to everything selected.
